Question of the Week

Sorry I forgot to post on Sunday - stuff happened. I was busy. So anyway, here's this week's (belated) question:

Can people who were born blind dream?

I don't mean to offend anyone, I'm just whole-heartedly curious. For those who know me well, you guys know that this kind of stuff coming from me is as casual as night and day. For those of you who DON'T know me, well, now you know. Problem solved.

  1. I am PRETTY sure they can't because you need visual stimulus to render dreams in your mind. Interesting question, though.

  2. Sure they can. Dreaming doesn't exactly have to be a vision, does it? I could dream of hearing someone crying, of hearing a door slam, of hearing horse hooves running, of hearing a woman's tinkling laugh, of hearing my name being called to answer a math question in school...you get the point.

Did you hear that? It's the sound of the keyboard being abused. It's a skill every writer/blogger needs to know. If you don't know it, go back to high school. Ohhh....wait. They don't teach you that in high school. Darn it. What ARE they teaching kids these days? Anyway, just leave a comment, and remember next to abuse your keyboard, because it's there to feel your rambling fingers.
