Tsunami

I wish I could give a a big warm hug to everyone in Japan who has suffered due the earthquake/tsunami. There is no greater sadness in this world than losing your home (and everything else you own) as well as the people you love.

I thank God that nothing ever this major happened while I was living in Japan way back when; I mean, we did have earthquakes, certainly, but they were very minor (I don't remember them but my parents do) and only took about 1-2 minutes and shook a little. Absolutely nothing compared to this.

Finally, I'd like to conclude by saying that no matter how big or small there will always be something in this world that we can do. At times like these, even the tiniest of details matters, right? So here's how you can give your own little share of help:

Simply text REDCROSS to 90999 and donate $10 to Japan and help them get through this crisis. For more information, visit the American Red Cross website or click the link below.

  1. PS. In the case that one of you doesn't care about what happened in Japan because most likely it won't affect you, the tsunami warning was sent to almost the entire Pacific region, even all the way to California and Hawaii.

If this piece of information doesn't make you guys care either, I have nothing else to say.

Did you hear that? It's the sound of the keyboard being abused. It's a skill every writer/blogger needs to know. If you don't know it, go back to high school. Ohhh....wait. They don't teach you that in high school. Darn it. What ARE they teaching kids these days? Anyway, just leave a comment, and remember next to abuse your keyboard, because it's there to feel your rambling fingers.
